APACHE TEARS are a form of black obsidian with a gentler energy.
They help us to accept loss of any kind. They bring great comfort especially
when we are faced with grief or sorrow.
There is a lovely legend behind apache tears which gives them their name.
Solders ambushed a group of apache warriors and many were killed and
the rest jumped off a cliff rather then be taken prisoner. The squaws wept at the
base of the cliff and their tears became embedded in the obsidian.
Since then these wonderful crystals have been known for their amazing
power to help us cope with grief and accept loss.
They help us to forgive enabling us to have a clear positive vision of the
future. They are the crystal for acceptance and recognizing that we learn from
whatever happens to us and that there is always some good if we look hard enough.
